The church has chosen a path that appears to be successful and by the world’s standards have succeeded. The problem with defining success based on the world’s view is there is no spiritual power and authority over the evil one. There is no healing and demons are not cast out. You even have to question whether people have actually been saved. So many people who call themselves Christians have been deceived and deluded. They have followed a different Jesus and other gospels and do not even realize it. Eventually they will find out the truth, but it will be too late.

There is only one path that leads to eternal life. Jesus said John 14:6 “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” There are other paths, but they all lead to death. Instead of following truth, the church decided to take their own path and ignored God’s word even though we were told Proverbs 2:16 “Wisdom will save you also from the adulterous woman, from the wayward woman with her seductive words, 17 who has left the partner of her youth and ignored the covenant she made before God. 18 Surely her house leads down to death and her paths to the spirits of the dead. 19 None who go to her return or attain the paths of life.” Many think the path they are on is the right one, until it is too late.” Proverbs 16:25 “There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.”

Moses said Deuteronomy 30:19 “This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.” Joshua said, Joshua 24:14 “Now fear the Lord and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. 15 But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Choose this day to walk in the way of truth. Psalm 119:30 “I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws.” Hosea 14:9 “The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.” Daniel 4:37 “Everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.”

The good news is Isaiah 59:20 “The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins,” declares the Lord.” Psalm 67:1 “May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine on us— 2 so that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations. 3 May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you. 4 May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you rule the peoples with equity and guide the nations of the earth. 5 May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you. 6 The land yields its harvest; God, our God, blesses us. 7 May God bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will fear him.”
