The last couple of days on the Jewish calendar have been Rash Hashanah / Feast of the Trumpets, the head of the year. We talked about these high holy days last week. We also talked about some who are predicting that the rapture will take place during this time, so if you are reading this more than likely you have been left behind and are now wishing you had been ready. The reality is everyone is still here because not only did they get the timing wrong, but there is also no such thing as the rapture as it is a doctrine of demons that has deceived many who call themselves Christians. If you follow these false teachings, you will not be ready for when Jesus actually does come to take those who follow His word wholeheartedly into life eternal. satan as we have seen from the beginning wants to separate you from God but many think that will never  happen to them because as Paul said Romans 8:31 “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Paul also said Romans 7:24 “Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!” Romans 8:1 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” But here is the problem. This only applies when Jesus is the true Jesus, not a different Jesus and the gospel is the true gospel, not another gospel as so many have fallen for. Christian and church does not always mean Christian and church. Matthew 7:21 ““Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” Because of rebellion, the church has been given over to the abomination that cause desolation and now the church has been decimated. Because of deception and delusion, most in the church are following a different gospel all the while thinking there is no condemnation but when the day of judgement comes, their eternal destination will not be what they thought it would be. Matthew 25:46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Like a trumpet, God’s word given through His servants the prophets has warned Israel, Judah, the Jews and now the church, through the written word of God but like Israel, Judah and the Jews, the church is not listening. Jeremiah 6:17 “I appointed watchmen over you and said, ‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’ But you said, ‘We will not listen.’” God told Jeremiah about their stubborn inclinations, Jeremiah 7:27 “When you tell them all this, they will not listen to you; when you call to them, they will not answer. 28 Therefore say to them, ‘This is the nation that has not obeyed the Lord its God or responded to correction. Truth has perished; it has vanished from their lips.” Jeremiah 18:11 “Now therefore say to the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem, ‘This is what the Lord says: Look! I am preparing a disaster for you and devising a plan against you. So turn from your evil ways, each one of you, and reform your ways and your actions.’ 12 But they will reply, ‘It’s no use. We will continue with our own plans; we will all follow the stubbornness of our evil hearts.’” As we saw disaster did come to Israel, Judah and the Jews and to this day the Jews refuse to repent and bow before Jesus their king and Messiah. The church was supposed to continue to do as Jesus did, but quickly turned away and has been defeated and remains in captivity, though many think the church is as it should be, yet is completely powerless against our enemies.

Even though the trumpet has been sounding concerning the attack of our enemies, the church has gone deaf to the warnings and continues on in its own way. It is like when a car alarm goes off and most ignore it and just keep walking by. I live down the road from a fire station and the sirens are a daily event. When I first moved, I counted how often they occurred but eventually you get used to it. That all changes when one day you are driving home and you see fire trucks, police cars and ambulances in from of your home. (It wasn’t for ours) You then realize that for every siren you hear something very serious could be taking place. That is what is happening now. All the sirens are going off. What you should be hearing is like an air raid siren or a tsunami siren and respond to it. But just as people ignore the alarms, many will ignore the warning of the ear piercing siren.

Every day people set their alarms to wake up and most do get up to start their day. Today the spiritual alarms are going off but most refuse to wake up and continue to enjoy their slumber. It is time for the church to wake up and be the church Jesus is the head of and continue to defeat the work of the devil with the power and authority given to the church at Pentecost. At this point the church is already a disaster. Ezekiel 7:5 “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: “‘Disaster! Unheard-of disaster! See, it comes! 6 The end has come! The end has come! It has roused itself against you. See, it comes! 7 Doom has come upon you, upon you who dwell in the land. The time has come! The day is near! There is panic, not joy, on the mountains. 8 I am about to pour out my wrath on you and spend my anger against you. I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices. 9 I will not look on you with pity; I will not spare you. I will repay you for your conduct and for the detestable practices among you.” Ezekiel 30:2 “‘Wail and say, “Alas for that day!” 3 For the day is near, the day of the Lord is near— a day of clouds, a time of doom for the nations.” Romans 13:11 “And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12 The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. 13 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. 14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.” If Jesus were to come today, most are not ready even though as Peter warned us 2 Peter 3:11 “You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.”

Today’s church is weaker and more stubbornly obstinate than ever before and refuses to obey God’s word. The world has seen the results of a weak church and therefore is a witness to the power of satan, but now the church is rising up in power and is on the verge of taking the country and the world back through the power of the government as we are seeing in the United States. As the world knows, the United States is the most powerful country in the world, so this is a good thing to have the government on the side of the church. Every day in the news you hear the name of Jesus, God, faith, victory and the defeat of our enemies. Politicians are sharing the gospel and proclaiming the name of Jesus, so praise be to God Almighty who is now standing for the church and defeating our enemies. If you have read anything I have written, you will know that what I just said was sarcasm as what is actually happening is the explosion of what has become the church led by satan. Paul said 2 Thessalonians 2:4 “He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” Daniel said Daniel 9:27 “And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.” satan in the church is not new, but what we are seeing with Christian nationalism is new and it is exploding across the nation and the tsunami sirens are blaring their warning.

On Sunday there was a memorial / political rally for Charlie Kirk and not only was this witnessed by an estimated 60 - 90,000 people at a stadium, but this was also livestreamed around the world. From all appearances, that is if you closed your eyes and ears, you may be tempted to think God is moving in a powerful way. I will talk about some of this in a moment, but it is important to understand the deception and delusion that is happening here, and millions have and will continue to fall for it. Paul warned the church when he said 2 Thessalonians 2:9 “The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.” When talking about the end times we are in, Jesus said Matthew 24:4 “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.” This has actually been going on since the time of Paul but what we are seeing today with Christian Nationalism could have global consequences.

First, I want to talk about deception and delusion. Deception comes from satan and delusion comes from God as we read in Thessalonians above. God allows this to happen because the church rebelled against His word. Here is a powerful example of what is taking place. During the reign of Ahab king of Israel, and Jehoshaphat king of Judah, there was a prophet named Micaiah. King Ahab was prepared to go to war. 1 Kings 22:4 “So he asked Jehoshaphat, “Will you go with me to fight against Ramoth Gilead?” Jehoshaphat replied to the king of Israel, “I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses.” 5 But Jehoshaphat also said to the king of Israel, “First seek the counsel of the Lord.” 6 So the king of Israel brought together the prophets—about four hundred men—and asked them, “Shall I go to war against Ramoth Gilead, or shall I refrain?” “Go,” they answered, “for the Lord will give it into the king’s hand.” 7 But Jehoshaphat asked, “Is there no longer a prophet of the Lord here whom we can inquire of?” 8 The king of Israel answered Jehoshaphat, “There is still one prophet through whom we can inquire of the Lord, but I hate him because he never prophesies anything good about me, but always bad. He is Micaiah son of Imlah.” Micaiah was an interesting prophet as it appears he messed with king Ahab who was a wicked king. He would often tell the king what he wanted to hear and say what the false prophets would say. He would also tell Ahab the truth. King Jehoshaphat knew better than to seek the counsel of the false prophets and this shows just how few prophets there were who spoke the truth. As Jeremiah said to the remnant who disobeyed the word of the Lord, Jeremiah 44:28 “Those who escape the sword and return to the land of Judah from Egypt will be very few. Then the whole remnant of Judah who came to live in Egypt will know whose word will stand—mine or theirs.” The truth of God’s word always prevails even if it takes a long time. Before Micaiah came 1 Kings 22:10 “Dressed in their royal robes, the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah were sitting on their thrones at the threshing floor by the entrance of the gate of Samaria, with all the prophets prophesying before them. 11 Now Zedekiah son of Kenaanah had made iron horns and he declared, “This is what the Lord says: ‘With these you will gore the Arameans until they are destroyed.’”12 All the other prophets were prophesying the same thing. “Attack Ramoth Gilead and be victorious,” they said, “for the Lord will give it into the king’s hand.” The false prophets loved to put on a show, but they were still wrong. When they went to get Micaiah, he was told 13 “The messenger who had gone to summon Micaiah said to him, “Look, the other prophets without exception are predicting success for the king. Let your word agree with theirs, and speak favorably.” 14 But Micaiah said, “As surely as the Lord lives, I can tell him only what the Lord tells me.” 15 When he arrived, the king asked him, “Micaiah, shall we go to war against Ramoth Gilead, or not?” “Attack and be victorious,” he answered, “for the Lord will give it into the king’s hand.” It is interesting that even though the four hundred who prophesied were not telling the truth, the king was upset with Micaiah and said 16 “How many times must I make you swear to tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?”

It is interesting that Jehoshaphat was also involved with Ahab’s son Joram and responded to him in a similar way. Joram asked Jehoshaphat to go to war, but Jehoshaphat responded 2 Kings 3:11 “Is there no prophet of the Lord here, through whom we may inquire of the Lord?” They then went to Elisha. 3 Elisha said to the king of Israel, “Why do you want to involve me? Go to the prophets of your father and the prophets of your mother. (Jezebel)” “No,” the king of Israel answered, “because it was the Lord who called us three kings together to deliver us into the hands of Moab.” 14 Elisha said, “As surely as the Lord Almighty lives, whom I serve, if I did not have respect for the presence of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, I would not pay any attention to you.” Micaiah I am sure felt the same about Ahab. It was only because of Jehoshaphat both times that truth was spoken to Ahab and Joram. One ended in death and the other victory as Ahab would die.

Micaiah’s prophecy to king Ahab should frighten us. 1 Kings 22:17 “Then Micaiah answered, “I saw all Israel scattered on the hills like sheep without a shepherd, and the Lord said, ‘These people have no master. Let each one go home in peace.’” 18 The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “Didn’t I tell you that he never prophesies anything good about me, but only bad?” 19 Micaiah continued, “Therefore hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne with all the multitudes of heaven standing around him on his right and on his left. 20 And the Lord said, ‘Who will entice Ahab into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?’ “One suggested this, and another that. 21 Finally, a spirit came forward, stood before the Lord and said, ‘I will entice him.’ 22 “‘By what means?’ the Lord asked. ‘I will go out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his prophets,’ he said. “‘You will succeed in enticing him,’ said the Lord. ‘Go and do it.’ 23 “So now the Lord has put a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all these prophets of yours. The Lord has decreed disaster for you.” Not only was disaster decreed for Ahab, but also for the false prophet Zedekiah. 24 “Then Zedekiah son of Kenaanah went up and slapped Micaiah in the face. “Which way did the spirit from the Lord go when he went from me to speak to you?” he asked. 25 Micaiah replied, “You will find out on the day you go to hide in an inner room.” Then as would happen with God’s servants, he was to be imprisoned. 26 “The king of Israel then ordered, “Take Micaiah and send him back to Amon the ruler of the city and to Joash the king’s son 27 and say, ‘This is what the king says: Put this fellow in prison and give him nothing but bread and water until I return safely.’ 28 Micaiah declared, “If you ever return safely, the Lord has not spoken through me.” Then he added, “Mark my words, all you people!”

These words should be startling to us. “The Lord said, ‘Who will entice Ahab into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?’ “One suggested this, and another that. Finally, a spirit came forward, stood before the Lord and said, ‘I will entice him.’ “‘By what means?’ the Lord asked. ‘I will go out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his prophets,’ he said. “‘You will succeed in enticing him,’ said the Lord. ‘Go and do it.” Today in the church there are false teachers everywhere who are just as convinced as the four hundred prophets and even as convinced as Zedekiah and his horns and most do not test the spirits. Pretty good show and from all appearances looked authentic, but totally false as his words were not from God. King Ahab was evil, as was his wife. 1 Kings 21:25 “There was never anyone like Ahab, who sold himself to do evil in the eyes of the Lord, urged on by Jezebel his wife. 26 He behaved in the vilest manner by going after idols, like the Amorites the Lord drove out before Israel.” Rebellion, as Ahab found out, always leads to death and destruction. Sadly, there will always be many false prophets who will tell you what you want to hear and there will be teaching that you will be deceived by and God will allow it to happen as we see today. All the prophets saying the same thing should sound familiar. 2 Timothy 4:3 “For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.” Jeremiah 5:30 “A horrible and shocking thing has happened in the land: 31 The prophets prophesy lies, the priests rule by their own authority, and my people love it this way. But what will you do in the end?” That time has been here for a very long time.

As we have talked about, the church has been warned since Jesus walked this earth and the trumpet has been sounding. We were told Matthew 7:15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.” Paul said the same. Acts 20:29 “I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. 30 Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. 31 So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.” And Peter said 2 Peter 2:1 “But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. 13 They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. 17 These people are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. 18 For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of the flesh, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error. 19 They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity—for “people are slaves to whatever has mastered them.” Yet people have grown deaf to the warnings.

Not only do we have deception from satan, we also have delusion which is all because God’s people refuse to obey His word. Again, as we read earlier, 2 Thessalonians 2:9 “The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.” The church was warned from the time Jesus walked the earth to the writing of the letters that now make up the bible. Paul warned us about following a different Jesus and adhering to other gospels. I am not talking about cults but those who call themselves the church. 2 Corinthians 11:4 “For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.” Galatians 1:6 “I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.” Paul was probably just as astonished as John was when he saw Revelation 17:6 “babylon the great, the mother of prostitutes and of the abominations of the earth. I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of God’s holy people, the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus. When I saw her, I was greatly astonished.” Seeing this was probably as appalling and exhausting as it was for Daniel to see the destruction that would come to the church. Daniel 7:21 “As I watched, this horn was waging war against the holy people and defeating them, 22 until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the holy people of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom.” Daniel 8:26 “The vision of the evenings and mornings that has been given you is true, but seal up the vision, for it concerns the distant future.” 27 I, Daniel, was worn out. I lay exhausted for several days. Then I got up and went about the king’s business. I was appalled by the vision; it was beyond understanding.” John was told Revelation 22:10 “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near.”

Daniel warned the church about the rebellion. Daniel 9:27 “And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.” Paul said 2 Thessalonians 2:4 “He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” Daniel 8:12 “Because of rebellion, the Lord’s people and the daily sacrifice were given over to it. It prospered in everything it did, and truth was thrown to the ground.” Not only was Jesus talking about the temple, but He was also talking about the church and its destruction. Matthew 24:1 “Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”  3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” 4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.” Now combine that deception with delusion and we then understand how serious the desolation of the church is and this is far more than just Christian Nationalism. Jesus said after talking about the abomination that causes desolation, Matthew 24:22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. 23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time.” Every day people are dying who think they have been saved, yet will hear, Matthew 25:41 “Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

This is not a warning reserved for a sandwich board, but the end is near and most in the church are deceived and deluded and do not want to hear the final call of the trumpet. The deception and delusion is already happening, but many teach that they are off in the distance, thinking that Daniel meant a perpetual off in the distance that never comes near. But as John was told, it was near. The false teaching of the rapture and the church being whisked away and then tribulation coming for those left behind follows this pattern of thinking. The problem is the tribulation is already here and most who call themselves Christians have already been defeated and as Jesus said, only a few will survive. 2 Peter 3:8 “But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.” Today the church has been decimated with only a few survivors and remains in desolation. The church was told, Revelation12:12 “But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.” Scripture sounded the alarm, but the church did not heed the warning. As we talked about in the last blog, like the Jews, the church has said we will not listen. Jeremiah 6:17 “I appointed watchmen over you and said, ‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’ But you said, ‘We will not listen.’” Later the remnant would say Jeremiah 44:16 “We will not listen to the message you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord!” (See Blog on the Gedaliah Fast which is on September 25, 2025) Over and over the church was warned, but like king Ahab preferred to listen to the false prophets.

As I said earlier, I would talk about a very serious siren that went off on Sunday (September 21, 2025) Today’s church especially, though not new, is filled with false teachers, teaching other gospels and pointing the masses to a different Jesus. We have talked about Christian Nationalism, but Sunday’s memorial for Charlie Kirk was the tsunami warning of the enemy’s presence in the church and in a big way. You could see it right before your eyes. It was not the sound of victory, but defeat and spreading fast. Normally on a Sunday, a football stadium is reserved for the worship of football, but this Sunday was a memorial service for the veneration of Charlie Kirk who was murdered September 10, 2025. They say there was over 90,000 people in attendance, plus this was livestreamed, so this was a global event. This event was put on by Turning Point USA, as could be seen from the branding located everywhere. At first glance you may think this was just a memorial service for a man who had been wrongfully killed but that would quickly change if you opened your ears to what was being said and who was saying it. One person described this event as “part spiritual revival and part political call to action, laced with some fiery rhetoric against perceived political enemies, while tempered with messages of forgiveness — depending on who was speaking.” Once you saw the list of speakers (the whole administration) you would soon realize this was far more than memorial, it was a political event in the guise of a memorial service / worship service.

The memorial service was basically highjacked by Donald Trump and his administration. This was no revival, and not even a memorial service but was intended to secure votes and followers for Donald Trump and bolster the organization Turning Point. Charlie Kirk was very good at the politics and debating, so much so they say he was one of the main reasons Trump was re-elected. He connected with the younger generation and sadly many would connect with him. This is not an assault on Charlie Kirk but hopefully as many are doing, will show that the Jesus and the gospel being promoted here is not the true Jesus and true gospel, but satan operating “in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” It is also important to understand that conservative does not mean Christian and liberal does not mean evil as those are political terms. Charlie Kirk came across as someone who was a man of God and a man of the Word and was able to quote the bible very quickly when he debated. Many are calling him a Christian martyr and some comparing him to Jesus, like they do with Trump. One person said he would have been the 13th disciple and some have even compared him to Stephen. It really is amazing to hear some of the ridiculous things people who call themselves Christians say. Stephen was stoned to death preaching the gospel. Acts 6:8 “Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people” So no, Charlie Kirk was no Stephen, nor a man of God even though at the memorial they lifted Kirk up as if he was and even wanted him to be a martyr. The power Stephen had was not present in Kirk. All you had to do was just listen to a few of his videos to see that he was no Stephen. In fact, much of what he said was vile and held to many conspiracy theories. Kirk was shot while trying to convince people guns were good and trans people were killers. Kirk’s efforts were to make the government the church and the county a Christian nation. I saw one video where he was quoting scripture which looked impressive, but the verses he was using were completely out of context, all being used to promote his own agenda and the agenda of Trump. The problem was he is very good at it and most people could not stand up to him. He was proven wrong many times and as I said the other day, like the rich man Jesus talked about, he will not be able to tell all those he has deceived that he was wrong.

There is much that could be said about Kirk, but I think the bigger issue is his deception and delusion and then the millions he influenced and continues to influence. That deception and delusion did not happen on its own. He failed to test the spirits and listened to those around him. He bought into what they said and then became a mouthpiece with a massive follow and proclaimed the very same lies he was taught to believe. Charlie Kirk had many gifts but what he was missing was crucial for his eternal well-being and that was discernment. Scripture tells us do not be deceived, there will be wolves in sheep’s clothing and savage wolves among us. Earlier we read about the deceiving spirits which is why the spirits must be tested. 1 John 4:1 “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” When you look at those who influence Kirk, he unfortunately connected with many false teachers. One of Kirk’s main influences spoke at the memorial. His name is Rob McCoy and Charlie Kirk called him his pastor. One writer said that "Rob McCoy was the person who turned Charlie Kirk to Christian nationalism, and very specifically the Seven Mountains Mandate," the idea that Christians should try to influence the seven pillars of cultural influence: arts and entertainment, business, education, family, government, media and religion.

I first came across McCoy’s name during covid as he fought against the government and kept his church open in California. I always felt he wanted to make a name for himself and that he has done. “He co-founded Turning Point USA Faith in 2021 with Kirk, an arm of Turning Point USA aimed at mobilizing churches for conservative causes like voter registration and opposition to progressive policies. McCoy's background includes a long career in ministry, with Godspeak Calvary Chapel known for its outspoken conservative stance, including defiance of COVID-19 restrictions in 2020-2021, when he kept the church open against California mandates.” Another name from the same group is Jack Hibbs who also had influence on Kirk. Kirk wholeheartedly bought into the lies that covid was not what it was being made to be, even though one of his mentors at Turning Point died of covid. Kirk has bought into many of the conspiracy theories that Mccoy believes also, such as the stolen election and January 6th uprising. “Kirk announced he was organizing buses to travel to Washington to back Trump on Jan. 6, 2021, and later invoked the Fifth Amendment rather than answering questions from the Jan. 6 subcommittee.” You can look at the influence of other leaders on Kirk and you will quickly see the danger of Christian Nationalism. Kirk then espoused the same beliefs to colleges and universities everywhere. He even said, “During an appearance with Trump in Georgia last fall, he said Democrats “stand for everything God hates.” Kirk called the Trump vs. Kamala Harris choice “a spiritual battle.” “This is a Christian state. I’d like to see it stay that way,” Kirk told the 10,000 or so Georgians, who at one point joined Kirk in a deafening chant of “Christ is King! Christ is King!” Oddly Charlie Kirk refused to say the same about Trump and all the things God hates.

There is so much that can be said about the dangers of someone like Charlie Kirk and how sad his deception and delusion were, but what you saw on Sunday at his memorial was much bigger than one person. The Trump administration turned the memorial into a political rally and even attacked their enemies. Charlie Kirk’s wife spoke and even said she forgave the shooter. I am not trying to be sinical, but it appeared it was all she could do to get the words of forgiveness out. Hopefully she is able to follow through on that. Those words would be part of the siren that would come later when Trump spoke. It would have been amazing if she, the now CEO of Turning point didn’t make her husband’s death into a political rally, but that is who they are. One writer said, “It was a memorial that Charlie Kirk would likely have enjoyed, one that delved heavily into politics, religion and the enduring strength and optimistic future of his organization.” The speakers that followed spoke of God, Jesus, faith but at the same time condemned their political opponents as evil. It is important to remember the arrogance of satan as he will always tell you that he is present. Also 2 Corinthians 11:13 “For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.”

Stephen Miller, political advisor, of all people spoke. I am going to include his speech and hopefully you will see what is going on here; the presence of satan in the guise of the church. (He is talking about their political adversaries as their enemy) He said, “Hello to millions of Americans all across this land who are gathered in sadness and sorrow to mourn Charlie Kirk, but also to dedicate ourselves to finishing his mission and achieving victory in his name. The day that Charlie died, the angels wept, but those tears have been turned into fire in our hearts. And that fire burns with a righteous fury that our enemies cannot comprehend or understand. When I see Erica and her strength and her courage, I am reminded of a famous expression. The storm whispers to the warrior that you cannot withstand my strength. And the warrior whispers back, "I am the storm." Erika is the storm. We are the storm and our enemies cannot comprehend our strength, our determination, our resolve, our passion. Our lineage and our legacy hails back to Athens, to Rome, to Philadelphia, to Montichello. Our ancestors built the cities. They produced the art and architecture. They built the industry. Erika stands on the shoulders of thousands of years of warriors of women who raised up families, raised up city,  raised up industry, raised up civilization, who pulled us out of the caves and the darkness into the light. The light will defeat the dark. We will prevail over the forces of wickedness and evil. They cannot imagine what they have awakened. They cannot conceive of the army that they have arisen in all of us. Because we stand for what is good, what is virtuous, what is noble. And to those trying to incite violence against us, those trying to foment hatred against us, what do you have? You have nothing. You are nothing. You are wickedness. You are jealousy. You are envy. You are hatred. You are nothing. You can build nothing. You can produce nothing. You can create nothing. We are the ones who build. We are the ones who create. We are the ones who lift up humanity. You thought you could kill Charlie Kirk. You have made him immortal. You have immortalized Charlie Kirk. And now millions will carry on his legacy. And we will devote the rest of our lives to finishing the causes for which Charlie gave his last measure of devotion. You cannot defeat us. You cannot slow us. You cannot stop us. You cannot deter us. We will carry Charlie and Erika in our heart every single day and fight that much harder because of what you did to us. You have no idea the dragon you have awakened. You have no idea how determined we will be to save this civilization, to save the West, to save this republic. Because our children are strong and our grandchildren will be strong and our children's children's children will be strong. And what will you leave behind? Nothing. Nothing. To our enemies. You have nothing to give. You have nothing to offer. You have nothing to share but bitterness. We have beauty. We have light. We have goodness. We have determination. We have vision. We have strength. We built the world that we inhabit now. generation by generation. And we will defend this world. We will defend goodness. We will defend light. We will defend virtue. You cannot terrify us. You cannot frighten us. You cannot threaten us. Because we are on the side of goodness. We are on the side of God. And to my friend Charlie, to my brother Charlie, I know you are looking at us right now. I know you're watching Erika right now. I know you're watching your children right now. And I promise you, my friend, I promise you, my brother, we will prove worthy of your sacrifice. We will prove worthy of your time on earth. We will make you proud. We will finish the job. We will defeat the forces of darkness and evil. And we will stand every day for what is true, what is beautiful, what is good. And we will achieve victory for our children, for our families, for our civilization, and for every patriot who stands with us. God bless you. God bless Turning Point.  God bless Erika. God bless the Kirk family. God bless our heroes. And God bless the United States of America.”

As Miller talked about the light, the light he talked about is not the light of the world but satan masquerading as the light. The dragon that was awakened was satan and from his words you see they fully believe they are all on the side of God. “And we will defend this world. We will defend goodness. We will defend light. We will defend virtue. You cannot terrify us. You cannot frighten us. You cannot threaten us. Because we are on the side of goodness. We are on the side of God.” This may be a weird comparison but it is like Kundalini yoga where they draw power from the serpent at the base of the spine. What is rising up is not God, but satan, not the church but the forces of evil that has infiltrated the church. The final alarm was Donald Trump who takes everything and makes it about himself. When Erika Kirk said she forgave her husbands killer, Trump could not help himself but to make this whole event about him.

I am only going to touch on what he said about hating his enemies. Trump has been deified but by his actions and words it is clear that God is not using him to turn the government into the church but to get the true church to wake up. The Christian nationalist movement you are seeing is not the church waking up but the dragon which is satan. People have bought into this movement but that is all it is, a movement. This is not the church or the light nor does it defend God’s word, nor are they on Gods side. The words Trump spoke was the second to last alarm of the event. He said, “That's where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate my opponent, and I don't want the best for them. I'm sorry. I am sorry, Erika. But now Erika can talk to me and the whole group, and maybe they can convince me that that's not right, but I can't stand my opponent.” And many in the crowd had no problem with what he said, nor did Erika Kirk. The final alarm was I think what I found really quite revolting was at the end of Trumps’ speech, he called Erika to the stage and they hugged each other as a loving father hugs his hurting daughter. That is why I said she had no problem with it. I won’t list the reasons why Trump is not the loving father (there are many) but what it does show is Erika will continue to praise and follow Trump as if he is a god for the benefit of her husband’s organization that she now controls.

The true church needs to wake up and once again stand on God’s word. Joel 2:1 “Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming. 5 Blow the trumpet in Zion, declare a holy fast, call a sacred assembly. 16 Gather the people, consecrate the assembly; bring together the elders, gather the children, those nursing at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room and the bride her chamber. 17 Let the priests, who minister before the Lord, weep between the portico and the altar. Let them say, “Spare your people, Lord. Do not make your inheritance an object of scorn, a byword among the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, Where is their God?” Thankfully there is hope. God said, Zechariah 1:3 “Therefore tell the people: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Return to me,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will return to you,’ says the Lord Almighty.” When the church repents, the kingdom of God comes near. That means God turns His face back to the church and power and authority over satan returns. Jesus said He would build His church and what you saw on Sunday was not Jesus building His church, but a political rally using Christianity for their own purposes. Even though there were some big named worship leaders does not mean God was listening as Amos said. Amos 5:23 “Away with the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps.”

The power of the United States government is no match for power of God. The good news is that God will overpower our enemies just as Assyria and Babylon were defeated and the true church will rise up. Matthew 24:11 “many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Our enemy stands in arrogance thinking that once again he has won but once again will be defeated by the power of God. 1 John 3:8 “The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.” Isaiah 10:12 “When the Lord has finished all his work against Mount Zion and Jerusalem, he will say, “I will punish the king of Assyria for the willful pride of his heart and the haughty look in his eyes.” Jeremiah 51:4 “Before your eyes I will repay Babylon and all who live in Babylonia for all the wrong they have done in Zion,” declares the Lord.” Jeremiah 50:27 “Woe to them! For their day has come, the time for them to be punished. 31 “See, I am against you, you arrogant one,” declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty, “for your day has come, the time for you to be punished. 32 The arrogant one will stumble and fall and no one will help her up.” Isaiah 27:1 “In that day, the Lord will punish with his sword— his fierce, great and powerful sword— Leviathan the gliding serpent, Leviathan the coiling serpent; he will slay the monster of the sea.” Jeremiah 50:20 “I will forgive the remnant I spare.” Isaiah 37:31 “Once more a remnant of the kingdom of Judah will take root below and bear fruit above. 32 For out of Jerusalem will come a remnant, and out of Mount Zion a band of survivors. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. 35 “I will defend this city and save it, for my sake and for the sake of David my servant!” Isaiah 25:9 “In that day they will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the Lord, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.” Isaiah 12:1 “In that day you will say: “I will praise you, Lord.  Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me. 2 Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.” 3 With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. 4 In that day you will say: Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. 5 Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. 6 Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.”
