When God gives you a verse, you have to hold onto it until it happens. This happens all the time for us when we read the bible as God speaks to us through his word. We have been talking about God being with us but we have to believe in the plans he has for his servants. A long time ago this was one of those verses that I read. I knew I had to hold on to this verse and not let go. I also had to believe it. Jeremiah 29I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.” These are not just some ideas He has scribbled on a piece of paper that might happen, these are plans to prosper, give hope and a future. Psalm 57:2 “I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfils his purpose for me. 3 He will send from heaven and save me.” Isn’t it comforting to know that Immanuel, God with us has a plan for us to prosper us give us hope and future but we must seek him?  But remember this one thing as you seek him. Matthew 7:13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.” Ask yourself what kind of gate you are looking for. You will not find the plans God has for you unless you seek him. God is looking for those you will love him with everything they have.
